Reading The Mysteries of Monkey Island made me obsessed with Monkey Island once again. Reading the book that details the whole series was very enjoyable. The fact that it was written before Return to Monkey Island and that the writer tries to predict what might be in store for the future of the series, and the extra chapter about RtMI adds a nice spin on things.
I even learned some new things about the games, like pressing CTRL+J in Curse. Now I need to play that game again. But before I do that, I must continue with replaying Escape first and Tales after that.

My obsession was fueled further by the excellent Noclip documentary Returning to Monkey Island. I’m so hyped for the physical edition of Return. I can’t be long now before LRG starts shipping those, right?

Seeing closeups of the artbook that was included in the LRG box made me regret not getting that when it was available. But I guess my wallet isn’t sad about that.
