Thomas was not alone

I finished Thomas was Alone today. My kids watched me play through the last scenario’s 10 and 11. They continuously gave me advice, so that was fun! The last scenario’s were an addition I think, with different characters. These leaned more on dexterity than on puzzle solving. I like puzzle solving more and could have done without. But it was pleasurable at least.

I went back to see where I left off on the Wii U years ago and that turned out to be level 4.8. In that level you get chased by spikes and I needed a few attempts this time around. It’s not surprising that I didn’t continue on from that point years ago. The Wii U version is digital only and I find that having the physical game lying in front of me encourages me to play more.
Digital games without the physical product are a bit like streaming services. There’s so much content that you can’t choose.
So, I’m glad I bought a physical copy of Thomas was Alone although I already had a digital copy for the Wii U. I would rather have had a Wii U copy than a PS4 one, but since that isn’t available, I’m glad I settled for the PS4 version.
