A decorative cart for the Commodore 64

I bought another copy of Ghostbusters for the Commodore 64. For a while now I saw these neat decorative carts being sold and recently a cheap batch turned up. Besides Ghostbusters, there was also Impossible Mission, Pac-man and International Karate.

I chose Ghostbusters, because that’s the game I have the fondest memories of from these few. Although I played Impossible Mission when I first had my C64, I never liked it very much. And I don’t remember playing International Karate at all on the C64. For me, it’s an Amiga game as that’s where I played it a lot.

And for Pac-man, I don’t specifically remember playing that on the C64, although there must have been a version or clone present on the numerous cassette tapes that were bundled with my first C64. Games that come to mind  are Pengo, Oil’s Well and Lady Tut.

Anyway, I don’t associate Pac-man as much with Commodore as Ghostbusters does. This little piece of plastic is a real eye catcher on the shelf.
