Gameroom decorating with tapestries and reliefs

I can appreciate sparsely decorated interiors and I wish that my gameroom was so spacious that it wouldn’t be as cluttered and filled up as it is. But that would mean getting rid of a big part of the collection and I’m not willing to do that right now. Maybe it will come to that eventually. For now however, every wall is filled with bookcases and shelves. So I thought that I might as well fill up the few remaining blank spots as well.

The space above the door lends itself perfectly for a wide but short poster and that’s were the Tapestry of Ages comes in. It’s a beautiful depiction of all the Avatar’s adventures that’s featured in the museum in Ultima IX. Between the tapestry and the fathers day painting is also a blank spot. I’ve filled that with Alduin’s Wall, the mural relief from Skyrim. Great stuff!
