The Guide to Japanese Role-playing Games was back in stock at Bitmap Books, so I immediately ordered it. After playing Final Fantasy VI last year I want to experience more jrpgs, but don’t know where to start. I’ve played some of the more well known games like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, and one Mario rpg, but not much more than that. I have a few for PS4 that I haven’t played yet, like Octopath Traveler II and a Tales game, but want to read more about them before playing.

Just as with the “regular” rpg book and the adventure game book, this JRPG book will be an invaluable work of reference, and enjoyment.
