In the last 6-7 years I’ve never seen this second US release of Pirates! being offered up for sale on my local online marketplace. So when it turned up in my search feed, I just had to snag it up. And for a very reasonable price I might add. It seemed like it just had my name on it, seeing as I already have two other versions of the original game: the European version with the pirate ship on the front and the first US release with the single pirate on the cover. I have learned earlier, that there exists yet another version of the original release, which I have seen on Ebay on occasion. I guess it’s now inevitable that that one will find its way to me someday. Hopefully also from a European seller. Ebay isn’t any fun anymore with those high shipping rates and tariffs. Oh, and I wouldn’t mind a boxed copy of the NES version also. Who says I’m greedy?
