Filling in the remaining gaps in my collection is starting to get expensive. But also still quite fun. Especially when we’re talking about items like this Ultima VII addition addition. Forge of Virtue is billed as “Computer Gaming’s First Add-In Disk”. It’s like early nineties DLC.

I already had this add-in in The Complete Ultima VII and the first time I played this was when I bought The Complete Ultima Collection, which I sadly sold again  years later.

This copy of Forge of Virtue is still sealed! And it looks genuine too. I make it a rule to open up sealed games and this one is no different. So I broke the seal and found the expected items: to little booklets and a 3.5 inch disk.

I open up sealed games, because I’m of the opinion that games are meant to be played. And also because keeping games sealed for so long can cause the box to become dented as the plastic slightly shrinks.

I’m obviously delighted with this addition. This of course also means that I’ll have to get The Silver Seed, the Add-In to Serpent Ilse, as well…
