No retro games pickups in Paris

While visiting Paris with my son I to see all the beautiful sights, I also had time to stop by a couple of retro gameshops. They have a whole street with them! I first went to Trader Games. Not a small shop and packed from floor ro ceiling with stacks and stacks of games. Almost all of them console games and while they had a few Super Nintendo and N64 games I want, they were a bit too expensive. Their PS4 selection was enormous and they had a couple of interesting titles, but nothing I had to have. And because I was with my son I didn’t have time to look at everything. On my own I could have spent hours in there.

The next one I visited was Cards and Games and was directly across the street. That one had less games, but still a very large selection. Especially Nintendo and Sega stuff.

The last one was FULL7. This one gain was absolutely bursting with games, and also consoles and computers. They even had some Commodore 64 and Atari ST stuff and boxed games. Sadly nothing I was looking for. The Japanese corner was also packed with MSX stuff. And in between all the boxed Vectrexes were a couple of more exotic machines, like a PSX and  X68000s. I was almost tempted to ask how much one of those would cost.

So sadly no game purchases to commemorate our trip to Paris.

Horse armor in Museé de l”Armée

One other game related thing I took note of was inside the Musée de l”Armée. They have all sorts of arms and armors on display, including a few horse armor sets. That reminded me immediately of the controversial dlc for Oblivion. A game I hope to revisit soon with the release of the physical edition.
