I hurt the guard because I wanted to see if I could

More progress made in Kingdom of the Seven Stones. I picked up an axe and wanted to see if the developer would allow me to do bad things with it. So I attacked the guard with it. And sure enough, I could! I immediately felt bad. But I got what I deserved. I got thrown in jail. The game didn’t end there, so either I’m supposed to sit out my punishment (I haven’t tried waiting yet), or I can escape (there’s something with the stones in the walls.) I haven’t pursued that playthrough though, because I couldn’t live with myself.

I started over and accomplished a few things (spoilers ahead!):

  • I recited a poem for the weaver. In return she offered me a choice between a garment or a blanket. I haven’t decided yet.
  • I gave the axe to the carpenter. In return I can borrow it.
  • I learned that the blacksmith needs something to make a hotter fire. Something about a rock and a dragon in a cave…
  • The trumpet player in the castle wants company.
  • the carpenter wants walnut wood. I saw a walnut tree nearby…

I saved my progress under filename “002”.
