Too much Broken Sword?

I just had to pickup the Broken Sword Reforged edition for the PS4 although I already have plenty of versions of the game. I’m hoping the remaster will provide enough enhancements to warrant the purchase. It certainly feels less of a compulsive purchase than the Evercade cart I bought earlier. I played some of the second game on the Evercade, but I’m currently stuck on one of the puzzles. Maybe after playing more of The Smoking Mirror and after that finally playing all the way through The Serpent’s Curse, playing through Reforged will feel appropriate.

I now have multiple versions of the same game: The original big box version, a copy in the Revolution 25th Anniversary Edition, a copy in the bog box version of The Serpent’s Curse, and the on the Evercade cart. The version I don’t have is the Director’s Cut. I once played this for ten minutes on my Android, but I didn’t recognize the original game, so I didn’t play it further.

I bought the Deluxe version of Reforged. But I have some issues with it.
It comes with a sleeve for the PS4 game, which is not exactly an improvement because it replaces the new cover art with the old one. I’ve never liked the box art of the original game. Also not of the second game. The US version of that game has slightly better box art in my opinion. I have been tempted to get that one.
It also comes with a key chain of a very pixelated George without a face. As this Reforged release strives to let the graphics be less pixelated, I don’t get the connection.
The best part of this version is the soundtrack on CD. I’ve never been a great fan of the music of the Broken Sword games, but it’s nice to have such an item I guess. Some of the tracks are nice enough.
What’s bothering me though, is that the keychain and the CD come separate of the game. I would rather have them in one package. The keychain fits, and maybe I will get a blank case for two discs, but I don’t know if the keychain will still fit then. I guess I can try it out in a PS4 game like Cyberpunk of Baldur’s Gate 3 that come with such a case. It all feels a little undercooked.
