Which game am I missing here?

After finishing The Procession to Calvary I want to play something with more action. Coincidentally I watched a speed run of one of my favorite platformers on the Amigos Retro Gaming channel: The Addams Family. Now this is a game, I enjoyed first on the Amiga and later on the SNES. And although I think the SNES version is superior, the game always has a little Amiga feeling for me. Because that’s where I first played it. I completed it on the SNES though.

Although I focus my games collection on point-and-click adventure games, crpgs, early computer racing/pinball/rts games, I do have a few physical releases of my favorite platform and action games in my collection. Those include copies of The Lost Vikings and Putty for the Amiga and Toki for the Atari Lynx. I would love a copy for the Amiga, but they’re so expensive and I played it more on the Lynx anyway. Other favorites of mine are Pang!, P.P. Hammer and Nebulus 2. But these are even more expensive. I settled for a copy of Pang! for the PS4, but it’s not the same. I keep telling myself that it’s a virtue to focus your collection and that helps a bit to not spend great heaps of money on those games.

The subject of this post however, is the game I watched on YouTube. And that game is The Addams Family. I don’t have a copy of that game and it’s generally not too expensive. I might even go for the SNES cart though, as that is the platform that I played the game on most. On the one side I don’t want to collect for the SNES (I don’t even own one). On the other hand I do want to have a few of the games I played on that system (it’s only a couple of games and I already have one: Stunt Race FX). Decisions, decisions…

And about the ending of The Procession to Calvary: That was great! I first got the second ending and quickly reloaded to get another (the third.) Than quickly ran through the game again to get the first. Hilarious!
